foundation for helping schools in India.
Tiny Smiling Faces is registered as a 501(c) designated non-profit organization under the name Dalubhai Gopalbhai Patel Fund, Inc. The resources and efforts of the Dalubhai Gopalbhai Patel Fund are currently employed towards improving and operating run-down government primary schools in rural parts of India. We would appreciate an app that would provide quick data about our foundation, provide forward links to additional information, collect data, and or some combination collect donations.

Promoting positive social behaviors in society
This app is designed to promote positive social behaviors through accountability, acknowledgement, goal setting, and social support. Users will be able to log good deeds (which can be linked to their social media accounts), set goals, show appreciation for others/something, and provide examples of how to help others. In essence, it is similar to fitness tracking apps but instead of logging workouts it logs good deeds.

Access to success initiatives
More than eighty percent of BC’s community-college students are first-generation, low-income students, performing at the remedial level in one or more subjects. Sixty-seven percent of our incoming student population is of Hispanic descent, and research shows that this group ranks high among first adopters of hand-held technology. This makes a Habits of Mind app a particularly impactful tool for empowering the majority of our students with habits that will enable them to overcome the challenges they face in school and in life.

On a basic level, Habits of Mind derives from the premise that students each have at least one special gift, a purpose, some part of them intended to improve their lives, as well as the lives of those around them. It also operates with the tacit wisdom that many of our students face numerous threats to their present and future, entailing a combination of personal struggles and lack of academic preparedness. Our driving principle is that, through this initiative in general, and utilization of a state-of-the-art app specifically, we will equip our students with accessible knowledge of the habits that will empower them to overcome the challenges they face - not only making them aware of the attributes that lead to success, but giving them the opportunity to practice these habits repeatedly, both, campus wide and in class, so that they become habits that they adopt and be a benefit to their future success. Economic barriers prevent our students from owning personal computers; however, your willingness to develop an app for Habits of Mind at BC would allow BC students to perform at their highest potential utilizing the habits that will lead to their educational and career successes. We are confident that with the help of App E Feat, we will be able to further develop the app and offer it to other schools in order to promote the success of students throughout the world. Educate our Community on Pet Adoption & Outreach
We are a charity that supports a shelter that takes in more than 6,000 animals per year. We would like to have an app that can share resources, pets available for adoption and take monetary donations.

Telephone Workshops
We need a mobile app that will help us get our Telephone Workshop message out to the public. Our workshops teach elementary school children Ohm's Law using old antique telephones and show how today's smartphones work on the same basic principle.

Building an App Internally
Children’s Future serves hundreds of children and youth that were previously not attending school and at risk of human trafficking and child labor. Currently, we would simply like to know more information about what it takes to build an education, language learning based app on both IOS and Android platforms.

App for Spreading Generosity
A Kindness Keeper is worn on your wrist and will accumulate your random acts of kindness as you do them. We have been told that an app would be far easier for a person to both view the kind acts they have done, as well as record the new kind acts they are doing.

App for free online school
Haitian School without Borders (École haitienne sans frontières) (www.haitianschoolwithoutborders.org) is an international non-profit organization that is providing a free and quality online education to thousand of Haitian students. Because of the limited Internet access and the wide spread of mobile phone use, HSWB is looking at creating an APP that will allow students to login, view classes and participate in online classes through Moodle (Learning Management System) in order to encourage particiapnst and sustain online attendance in the long term.

Refer a Friend App for Adult Education Program, Austin, TX
We are requesting a simple app that would allow the user to quickly and easily share information about Capital IDEA through text, email or Facebook post. If possible, we would like for the user to be able to enter a phone/email to send to, or select one from their saved contacts. Ideally a 15-30 second video would be embedded in the app, but we don't have a video at present.

Sitters Without Borders
Sitters Without Borders provides free childcare to low-income families in which at least one parent is enrolled in college. Each qualified family receives a 4-hour babysitting session each week, while the parent runs to their college class. All babysitting sessions are done by volunteers. After each weekly babysitting session, both the Sitter and the family are required to fill out a quick feedback form, to inform the organization of how the babysitting session went. This info includes: Name of person filling out the application, Sitter name, Family name, date, times of sitting session, rate the overall session (three options provided) and comments. The Sitting Session Feedback Forms are the main thing needed for the organization, but some other things would be nice as well, for example, to request a new babysitting session, or for the volunteer Babysitters to provide their new availability schedule (optional). Thank you!!
